Thatchu Shasthra, or the Science of Carpentry and Traditional Vasthu, was the governing science in this architectural form, Which is been implimented in this Institutional mass structure of Ettukettu (eight halled with two central courtyards) which is the most elaborate form of this architecture. Structure faces the sunlight, and excellent ventilation. Temperatures, even in the heat of summer, are markedly lower within the Ettukettu.
